My dear friends asked me to photograph their wedding for them. Even though I’m not a “wedding” photographer I don’t mind shooting small, intimate events. Omara and Romina looked stunning during their special day. I wish you years of happiness together.

I was  honored to be asked to photograph “S & R’s” wedding at the Marina Hilton in Fort Lauderdale.  Since they were visiting from Ireland, they did not have a wedding party. The ceremony was beautiful and their vows to each other so touching.  I wish you years of love and friendship. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day.

I had the pleasure of second shooting a traditional Hindu wedding for Bradley and Melissa. I met Bradley at his home and photographed him with his lovely family. Since I have never been to a Hindu wedding, his family was explaining all the traditions that proceeded. After photographing at the grooms home, I proceeded to the temple. The music was beautiful, the priest did a wonderful job conducting the ceremony and Melissa was so beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your culture. I wish Bradley and Melissa all seven blessing of Saptapadi.

The groom arrives in his decorated car to much fanfare. He is then escorted into the temple by the brides mother. About an hour later, the bride is carried into the temple in a small carriage.

The middle picture on the right shows the Seven Steps or Saptapadi. Here, the couple are tied together. They walk around the fire as the priest chants the seven blessings or vows for a strong union. By walking around the fire they are agreeing to these.

Becky and Matt spent their honeymoon here in Fort Lauderdale. I met them at the Marriott and then we went across the street to the beach. I had so much fun photographing their honeymoon pictures. Congratulations on your wedding and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Thank you to Erica and Jeffrey for allowing me to photograph their engagement session. We met at Hollywood beach and shot until the sun went down!

I just finished up shoot at Morikami Gardens, when I overheard an excited young lady talking on the phone. She was telling someone that she just got engaged. The couple were so happy. I asked them if I could take a few images for them as a gift to share in their joy. Congratulations Jennifer and Brent, may you have best in life as you both look forward to a future of love, friendship and a bond like no other.
